Personal safety
Getting home should not take this much planning.
Keys between your fingers, a friend on speakerphone, a text when you’re in. ProTechMe replaces the routine with one press — and the app is free for private users.

Who it’s for
For anyone who has ever taken the long way round because it was better lit.
You are not buying it for someone else — you are buying it because of the walk you are going to take tonight.

Walking home at night
The last ten minutes — off the bus, through the underpass, up the unlit stairwell.

Commuting and late transport
The last train, an empty platform. Two presses in your pocket — no screen, no sound.

Running or cycling alone
Early mornings and forest trails. Clip the button to a strap and keep your phone where it is.

Living alone
No flatmate to notice the front door never opened. One press, and someone does.

Students
New city, new address. Start with one person you trust — the nearest ProTechMe users are the fallback.

Night shifts
Locking up alone, the walk to the car park at 3am. Works whether or not your employer provides anything.
ProTechMe is built with women’s safety in mind first — the walk home, the first date, the late shift. Read why

How it works
From press to help in seconds
Press
Two firm presses on the button, or one tap in the app. Nothing to unlock, nothing anyone next to you can see.
Your people are alerted
The contacts you chose get a critical alert that breaks through silent and do-not-disturb, with your live location and a route to you.
Talk, and escalate if needed
Two-way voice during the alarm. If none of your contacts respond, the five nearest ProTechMe users are alerted — and a call to your local emergency number is one tap away.

ProTechMe is not a monitoring centre and does not replace the emergency services. We do not dispatch ambulances, police or fire services. In a life-threatening emergency, always call your local emergency number.
Your location
Who can see where you are
A safety app that watches you all the time is not a safety app. Here is exactly who sees your location, and when.
Outside an alarm: nobody
No one is watching your position — not your contacts, not other users, not us. Outside an active alarm the app is dormant and is not sharing where you are.
During an alarm: only your people
When you raise an alarm, your live location goes to the contacts you chose, for as long as that alarm is running. When it ends, the sharing ends with it.
Community helpers see only enough to reach you
The nearest ProTechMe users are account holders on the same terms as you — not anonymous strangers. They are alerted during an alarm and see what they need to find you and get there.
You control the list
You decide who your trusted contacts are, and you can change that list at any time. Nobody adds themselves to it.
