About ProTechMe
Safety, everywhere you go.
ProTechMe is community-based personal safety, headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark. We make help reachable in seconds — through the people you choose, the wider ProTechMe community, and emergency services. Built in Aalborg · more than 3,000 active users · more than 2,000 safety buttons sold.
ProTechMe is the international brand of Linucare ApS, CVR 44214946, Beddingen 9, 6. sal, 9000 Aalborg, Denmark. Linucare is the Danish-market brand; ProTechMe is the same company, the same app, and the same safety buttons, for everywhere else.
Why ProTechMe exists
Most safety advice assumes that someone who cares about you is close enough to reach you in time, or that formal emergency services will be. Often neither is. Public safety systems are slow or overloaded, and the people you trust are somewhere else.
ProTechMe adds a third layer: nearby app users. If your own people can't help, the alarm transfers to the five nearest ProTechMe users. Community-responder networks have worked this way for cardiac arrest for years; ProTechMe applies the same idea to personal safety generally.
It works for the walk home after a late shift, the run before it gets light, the first date with someone you met online, the commute that ends with an unlit stretch of road. It works in places where formal emergency response is slow or overstretched. And it works just as well for someone living alone and for lone workers operating where colleagues aren't close by.
More on the everyday version of this on our women’s safety page, and on how teams use it on ProTechMe for business.

Technology + community
Pure technology has tried to solve safety for years. Apps with louder alarms, smarter detection, more sensors. They miss the basic point: when something goes wrong, you need a person — not a notification.
ProTechMe pairs a simple alarm system with a network model: your people first, the wider community second, and — if nobody responds — a one-tap call to your local emergency number, plus partner NGO responders where they exist. Every layer adds a fallback the next layer needs.
The community fallback is densest where ProTechMe is active today. Every NGO partner, every distributor, every individual who downloads the app makes the network denser for everyone.

Where we're headed
More NGO partners. More distributors who know their own market. More cities where pressing the alarm reaches help in seconds.
We're honest about where the network is dense today and where it's growing. That trust is the foundation of the whole product.
