ProTechMe is a personal safety service. We take privacy seriously because the people who use our app are sometimes in vulnerable situations — survivors of abuse, lone workers, elderly people living alone — and the consequences of mishandling their data are real.

In plain language

• Your location is shared only when you press the alarm. We never track your daily movements.
• We never sell your data, ever.
• Your alarm is shared with the people you chose for your network — and, only if no one in your network responds, the five nearest ProTechMe users.
• You can delete your account and your data at any time from inside the app.

What data we collect

Account data (name, email, phone), the groups you create, the contacts you add to those groups, and — only during an active alarm — your location. We log alarms (who, when, response) for the safety of your network and for incident review.

Why we collect it

To deliver the service: route the alarm to the right people, navigate them to you, log the incident, keep your account secure.

Where we operate

ProTechMe operates internationally from Aalborg, Denmark. We comply with GDPR for European users, India's DPDP Act for Indian users, and applicable privacy law in the markets we operate in.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, and delete your data. Email us at contact@protechme.com and we'll respond within 30 days, usually faster.
