Welcome to Protechme. These terms of use apply to the use of the services that Linucare, CVR number 44214946, (“Linucare” or “we”) offer you through our app “Protechme” (“The App”).
Please review the terms of use carefully before starting to use the App. You must approve the terms of use to be allowed to use the App.
Generally
The app is an application-based service where you can get help in emergencies. When the App is used, close contacts or people nearby will be notified, and if able to help, navigated to your location.
Your account and use of the App
To use the App, you must create a user account. When you register your account, you will be asked to provide certain personal information. You must then confirm that the information is correct and up-to-date. You are responsible for this as long as you are the holder of a user account. Information about our processing of personal data can be found under “personal data policy.”
Your user account is personal, and you are responsible for ensuring that no one else uses it. You are responsible for all use of the App via your user account.
Our provision of the App
Protechme is still developing the App and may, in whole or in part, update, change, or temporarily or permanently close the App or parts thereof (such as, but not limited to, features and available services). It may be necessary to carry out work that affects the App. The App may occasionally, in whole or in part, be unavailable or not function satisfactorily due to planned or unplanned maintenance, malfunctions, or other circumstances.
Linucare has the right to close your account and log you out of the App with immediate effect if you misuse the App, cause harm or inconvenience to the App or us, or if you otherwise breach these Terms of Use. If your account has been closed pursuant to this clause, you are not entitled to re-register or create a new account without specific permission from Linucare.
Payments
Free Features: Upon activation of this version of the App, the App (as well as all available features) is offered to you at no cost.
Payment Features: Linucare may choose to introduce changes to certain or all features of the App or to the App itself. In such a case, you will be clearly notified of such changes and applicable fees. The app will always be free, but some features may require payment. All prices, fees, and payment schedules will be provided in the App for your reference. You will have to make payments as described in the App (in such a case, please remember to provide all the necessary information to complete the payment). For your security and the efficiency of the transaction, payments may be managed by a third party such as a professional payment operator (all necessary information will be provided to you).
Your responsibility
You are responsible for your account being used in accordance with these terms of use, other conditions that appear in the App, and the law in force at any time.
If you violate these terms of use or applicable law or if you use the App in an illegal or unauthorized manner, you are obligated to indemnify and hold Linucare harmless from all damages caused thereby.
Important!
When using the App, you are responsible for accessibility to the internet, Bluetooth, location services, and ensuring that the phone has not activated the energy-saving function. You should also keep the app up to date.
Our Responsibility
We strive to offer the App continuously and with stability. However, the App and Website are provided “as is” and without obligation or warranty of any kind. Linucare does not assume responsibility for any damage that may occur because you cannot access the App or the App’s functionality. We reserve the right to update, revise, or temporarily or permanently cease offering the App. We are not responsible for the content of websites linked to or from the App or the Website.
Termination of Terms of Use/Closing of Account
These terms of use are valid for as long as you have a user account. If you wish not to be bound by the terms of use, you must close your account according to the instructions in the account. If you close the account, we will promptly delete all available information about you, with the exception of the information that we are obliged to store by law.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership, copyright, and all other rights to the App, Protechme’s trademark, company, and the website, as well as all documents used and/or offered by Linucare on the website and in the Service, belong exclusively to Linucare (or in some cases our licensor). Any copying, modification, transfer, and/or other use of Linucare’s material not expressly permitted by the terms of use or occasional instructions is prohibited. You confirm and agree that you are aware that unauthorized use of our intellectual property rights, in addition to breaching the terms of use, may be criminal.
Ownership and Copyright of Image and Video Material Ownership and copyright of any image and video material made available by you belong to you. However, Linucare has the right to use image and video material in order to offer you the App. This means, among other things, that Linucare has the right to save and copy, as well as forward the image and video material to another professional, for example in connection with a referral. We do not use image or video material for any purpose other than offering the App.
Processing of Your Personal Information
Your integrity and personal information are important to us. All personal information that you provide to us is processed in accordance with our security policy. The policy explains what information we collect, how and why we collect, store, use, and share the information. The policy also informs you about your rights in relation to personal information and how to contact us if you have questions or complaints regarding the use of your personal information. Changes to Terms
Linucare may change the terms of use. In the event of a possible change, we will publish the new terms of use on the website and in the App and inform you about this via the email address that you have provided in the App. If you do not accept one or more changes to the terms of use, you must stop using the App by deregistering your account or contact us with a request to close the account.
Dispute
These Terms are subject to Danish law. The courts in Denmark or the country where you reside have exclusive jurisdiction to decide any claim or dispute arising under the Terms. Location
Linucare sends alarms to the nearest helpers. In order to be able to calculate which helpers are closest, we need location data. The location is based on satellite, WiFi, and mobile network data.

- Administration of the help system and the app: For use in the administration of the help system and the app, including registering you as a user of Linucare’s app and assigning a password, as well as providing relevant app support, etc.
- Call for help: Location data is recorded via the mobile phone. Data is processed with the aim of finding helpers who are closely located based on your current location.
- Calling possible helpers: Location data is registered via the mobile phone. Data is processed with the aim of being able to calculate whether your current location makes you a possible helper in an emergency situation.
- Communication: Ongoing communication is essential to ensure that the scheme functions as it should. It may become relevant to communicate both before, during, and after a task is completed. The communication can relate, for example, to answering specific inquiries from you and informing you about news and changes in help.
- Quality development: Your data will be used for quality development of the app as well as analysis, evaluation, and ongoing development of the help system to ensure that it always functions as optimally as possible.
- Statistics: We continuously compile statistics on helpers and in relation to the help scheme in general.

- Year of birth
- Username and password
Information That Is Generated and/or Received Continuously:
- Registration time
- Time to update the app
- Information about your current geographic location (location), information about the tasks you may participate in, including time records, date and time of calls, and acceptance/rejection of alarms.
